Bereavement Support for Family and Friends

Our Bereavement Care Program strives to help individuals and families understand the grief process and provide support that encourages a healthy adjustment to loss.


Adult Bereavement Support Services


1:1 Support Sessions
A time to gain support while coping with a loss by talking one-to-one with one of our bereavement support staff.  Call 541-882-2902 for an appointment.

Grief Support Groups
An opportunity for learning and support, facilitated by qualified professionals. Call 541-882-2902 for dates and times.

Lending Library
Klamath Hospice maintains a lending library on topics related to hospice, death, dying, and bereavement.  Literature may be checked out for 30-day increments by contacting Tara Garlock at 541-882-2902.

Professional Trainings
Our staff can customize trainings on death and bereavement related topics.  Topics have included Advanced Care Planning, Compassion Fatigue and How to Help Grieving Students.

Remembrance Run/Walk
In honor of our loved ones, this annual event occurring the third Saturday in May, creates a time for celebration and remembrance and the display of a lantern in honor of your loved one.



Youth Bereavement Support Services


Camp Evergreen
Summer youth bereavement camp providing grieving youth an opportunity to learn, laugh and remember.

School Outreach Program
Our school-based grief support groups offer a combination of education and support for those who have experienced the death of a loved one.  Services include:
