Part-Time/Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN)

Position is responsible for planning, coordinating, providing and documenting care for terminally ill patients from day of admission through day of discharge.  The position offers an excellent benefits package including fully paid medical, dental, short/long term disability, and up to 25 days of paid time off.

RN Requirements:
– Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
– Current RN licensure in the state of Oregon, with ability to obtain licensure in state of California
– Experience as an RN commensurate with ONE of the following: one year acute care experience within the last three years; one year home health care experience within the last three years; one year community health or public health experience within the last three years; one year hospice experience within the last three years; or, have a baccalaureate degree in nursing from a program accredited by the National League of Nursing.
– Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to supervise staff and other professionals.
– Basic computer knowledge
– Comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practice
– Current BCLS certification

Social Worker (MSW)

Position is responsible for delivery of varied social work services to hospice patients and families, including initial psychosocial evaluations, ongoing psychosocial counseling, direct casework services and bereavement services.  Position is full-time and offers an excellent benefit package including fully paid medical, dental, short/long term disability, and 25 days of paid time off.

Requirements:
– Master’s Degree of Social Work from school accredited/approved by the Council on Social Work Education.
– A demonstrated ability in casework, counseling and group work, including clinical social work experience preferably in a healthcare or hospice setting.
– Computer literacy with Microsoft Office programs.
– Possess valid state driver’s license and reliable automobile, and be willing to operate personal care as necessitated by nature of job.

Part-Time Thrift Store Lead Cashier

Assists store leadership in leading cash and wrap operations to ensure maximum accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and procedures.  This position works 20 hours per week and is non-benefited.

Requirements:
– Must be high school graduate.
– Minimum of one (1) year cashier experience.
– Mathematical skills and the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately.
– Strong organizational skills.
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
– Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation.
– Ability to work flexible hours/days to oversee store operations.
– Demonstrated ability to perform detailed work in a timely manner with accuracy and thoroughness.
– Demonstrated excellence with communication skills and ability to be professional and courteous.
– Ability to establish and maintain an environment and attitude supportive of continuous improvement.
– Ability to read and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
– Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store generally weighing up to 50 pounds.

Part-Time Lead Thrift Store Stock Person

Oversees the receipt and coordination of donations, which includes inventory management as directed by the Treasures’ Manager.  This position works 20 hours per week and is non-benefited.

Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Demonstrated knowledge of proper handling of merchandise.
– Demonstrated ability to perform detailed work in a timely manner with accuracy and thoroughness.
– Ability to work varied hours/days, including Saturday, in order to provide stock operation coverage.
– Demonstrated ability to respond well to supervision and to work independently when appropriate.
– Ability to establish and maintain an environment and attitude supportive of continuous improvement.
– Ability to read and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
– Ability to move and handle merchandise throughout the store generally weighing 0-75 pounds.

Supplemental RNs

The Hospice Supplemental Registered Nurse is responsible for providing and documenting care for terminally ill patients from day of admission through day of discharge.  Utilizing physicians’ orders and professional skills, and in coordination with the other members of the interdisciplinary team, the Hospice Supplemental RN implements a hospice plan of care that meets each patient’s specific needs and is in compliance with Federal and State regulations, reimbursement guidelines, as well as the organization’s policies and procedures.  Participates in on-call rotation (including weeknights and weekends).

Requirements:
– Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
– Current RN license from the Oregon State Board of Nursing, with the ability to obtain a RN license from the California Board of Registered Nursing.
– Experience as an RN commensurate with ONE of the following: one year acute care experience within the last three years; one year home health care experience within the last three years; one year community health or public health experience within the last three years; one year hospice experience within the last three years; or, have a baccalaureate degree in nursing from a program accredited by the National League of Nursing.
– Current BCLS certification
– Basic computer knowledge
